Celem artykułu było ukazanie pozycji uniwersytetu w kulturowej przestrzeni województwa lubuskiego. Analizie poddane zostały dane statystyczne Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego dotyczące m.in. liczby studentów i absolwentów regionu oraz uczestnictwa w kulturze i działalności instytucji kultury. Zastosowana została metoda analizy danych zastanych. ; Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na powiązania między działalnością uczelni a regionalnym potencjałem edukacyjnym i kulturowym w świetle nakładów finansowych w skali województwa i kraju. Wskazane zostały podstawowe uwarunkowania wpływające na pozycję Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego w kontekście jego obecności w krajobrazie kulturowym regionu oraz ograniczenia wynikające z sytuacji demograficznej i społeczno-ekonomicznej województwa. Wyniki analizy ukazały względnie stabilną, lecz wymagającą wsparcia pozycję uczelni w strukturze instytucjonalnej regionu.
Abstract:
The aim of the article is to present the position of the university in the cultural space of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. The analysis is based on statistical data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS), including, among others, the number of students and graduates in the region, as well as participation in cultural activities and the operation of cultural institutions. ; A secondary data analysis method was employed. Particular attention was paid to the links between the university`s activities and the region`s educational and cultural potential, viewed in the context of financial outlays at the provincial and national levels. ; The study identifies the key determinants shaping the position of the University of Zielona Gora in relation to its presence in the cultural landscape of the region, as well as limitations resulting from the demographic and socio-economic conditions of the voivodeship. The results indicate a relatively stable, yet support-dependent, position of the university in the institutional structure of the region.
