Abstract:
The article presents the researching problems connected with textbooks, which were edited by the Polish education organizations in The United States of America, Great Brittain and Canada after the second world war. The author suggests to embrace the researching formal aspect of these publications - scheme of contents, criteria of choise titles, prefered kinds of literature and themes. ; In the last case very important is complying theme of Polish tradition, tradition of countries where the Polish emigrants live and the picture of Polish reality after the second world war. Very important problem is connection between theme of these textbooks and Polish goverment transformation in the year 1989, when the communism is over.
