The publication entitled Nationalism in the opinions of high schools' studems in the lubuskie voivodship consists of two pans. The first one is devoted to the general description of nationalism based on the works by two researchers dealing with the issue of nationalism, namely Rogers Brubaker and Ernest Gellner. ; There one shall find definitions, types and the main sources of nationalism. The second part of the publication includes the opinions of high schools' students on nationalism. These opinions were analysed on the basis of questionnaires carried our in two schools in the lubuskie voivodship. The questionnaire consisted of six questions, each of which was followed by an open question requiring the students to give reasons for their answers. ; The results of the questionnaires have shown that there exist substantial discrepancies among high schools' students towards their attitude to nationalism. This observation is noticeable while analysing the answers given by the population concerned as a whole, or taking into account the answers provided by the students in respect of their sex. ; The answers suggest that there is a group of students who view nationalism as a totally negative issue. For others this notion is neutral, however for some of the students, the nationalistic attitude seems to be the proper one.
