Abstract_pl:

Mimo prowadzonych badań, wiedza na temat ogromu strat polskiej ludności w województwach wschodnich II RP podczas II wojny światowej jest nadal niewystarczająca. Dotyczy to przede wszystkim ludobójstwa dokonanego na Polakach przez Ukraińców. Zostały tam bestialsko zgładzone setki tysięcy Polaków. Ci, którzy ocaleli, na całe życie pozostali okaleczeni psychicznie i fizycznie. Autorzy zachowanych relacji i wierszy pragną, by historyczna prawda o ich losie nie została zapomniana, a tak się niestety z woli rządzących aktualnie dzieje. Trwa skandaliczne przemilczanie i fałszowanie historii nie tylko na Ukrainie, ale i w Polsce.

Abstract:

Despite the conducted research, knowledge about the enormous losses of the Polish population in the eastern provinces of the Second Polish Republic during World War II is still insufficient. This applies primarily to the genocide committed against Poles by Ukrainians. Hundreds of thousands of Poles were brutally murdered there. Those who survived were left mentally and physically scarred for the rest of their lives. The authors of the preserved accounts and poems wish that the historical truth about their fate would not be forgotten, and unfortunately this is currently happening at the will of those in power. The scandalous silence and falsification of history continues not only in Ukraine, but also in Poland.
