<dc:description xml:lang="pl"><![CDATA[Coaching often goes hand in hand with positive thinking and fits in with a modern culture that promotes individuals donning the shiny masks of happy successful people who fulfil their potential by pursuing their plans and dreams. It combines with habitual optimism, with exposing only the good, bright sides of life. In this way, coaching supports the so-called culture of narcissism.]]></dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="pl"><![CDATA[Narcissism is when an individual loses touch with their real self in favour of an idealised image. Narcissistic people live in a de-realised world, run away from themselves and focus on an idealised image. They suffer from a kind of self-alienation and are disconnected from their body life and the world around them. Using the categories of the dialogue philosophy, it can be considered that narcissism-affected individuals realise themselves in an I-It modus.]]></dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="pl"><![CDATA[They avoid being fully present, run away from experiencing their imperfect humanity, and the tasks carried out in the coaching process become a kind of fulfilment of ready-made instructions that are supposed to guarantee success and reliably lead to the desired goal. Goals appear as an attractive ideal that must be achieved at all costs. This hinders learning and flexible reactions to circumstances, and can even be destructive. In contrast, the subject living in the I-Thou relationship opens up to the world, to different aspects of self and spirit.]]></dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="pl"><![CDATA[Coaching carried out in this mode of being expands the field of consciousness, overcomes narcissistic impoverishment and alienation of the self. This is transpersonal coaching, which captures the development of the individual holistically, emphasising the integration of the different levels of human existence. Such coaching is essentially a practice of spirituality, promoting the individual?s discovery of their place in the cosmos and their acquisition of self-knowledge.]]></dc:description>
