The author points out that any attempt to present the statistics in a form other than a table, helps in understanding of the presented values.]]></dc:description>

The author presents the most important methods used in cartography: dot distribution map, isarithmic and isopleth, dasymetric, proportional symbols and choropleth map, indicating that the last two of them, seems to be the most useful in the practice of mapping by historians. Substantive content is enriched by ten color maps, the result of research and studies on cartography.]]></dc:description>
