This information is especially important when considering agricultural usage of sludge.]]></dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="en"><![CDATA[Literature data indicate that in sewage sludge after methane digestion heavy metals can occur in different forms, which determine their bioavailability. It was demonstrated that in sludge metals are mainly bound to organic-sulfide fraction. Zinc was also present in significant amounts in hydrated iron and manganese oxide fraction, nickel in exchangeable-carbonate fraction, whereas lead in residue fraction.]]></dc:description>
