 abstract={The aim of the presented text is to show the essence of counseling practiced not so much in an interpersonal as in an intrapersonal one. Therefore, we are talking about a type of counseling that becomes an independent help process, taking place individually, in the inner world of a given person`s experiences. For the purposes of this study, the process was called "self-counseling", or coping with oneself (cope).},
 abstract={The author describes "selfcounseling", presenting it against the background of what, thanks to the works of - Martin Shepard, Janette Rainwater, Stanisław Siek and others - functions as self-therapy, autopsychotherapy or self-help. So we are talking about such support activities that are orientem towards coping with oneself; on the ability to reach for one`s own resources and make them a source of strength and support for oneself.},
 abstract={The study describes two ways of understanding "self-counseling". The first one, related to the situation in which both the content and the form of the counseling offer come from the outside (they are determined by another person, play the role of external, counseling inspirations), called following counseling content. The second, on the other hand, in which the content and form of advice in an independent way (they are developed by the counselee, acting as freely appearing counseling reflections) was called creating counseling content.},
 abstract={The article shows how both understandings of "self-counseling" differentiate the perception of the counselee, the role of the counselor, as well as the content of the counseling offer itself.},
