W prozie Jakuba Żulczyka, obfitującej w nawiązania do filmów fabularnych, seriali telewizyjnych, programów telewizyjnych i gier komputerowych, ważną rolę odgrywa także świat filmowców. ; W obrazach pseudointelektualnych reżyserów fabularnych dominuje sarkazm, natomiast portrety rzeczywistych znanych osobistości filmowych, zwłaszcza aktorów, naznaczone są zazdrością, dystansem lub rozczarowaniem. ; Pomimo tego, że bohaterowie Żulczyka często pretendują do miana wybitnych aktorów i reżyserów, kreowany przez pisarza świat filmowców i pseudofilmowców jawi się raczej negatywnie - jest pełen dyletantów czy amatorów, często degeneratów, których produkcje nie mają nic wspólnego ze sztuką.
Abstract:
In Jakub Żulczyk`s prose, which abounds in allusions to feature films, television series, shows and computer games, the world of filmmakers also plays an important role. In particular, actors performing in pornographic films are frequently invoked; Żulczyk`s representations of them veer between irony or explicit contempt and the creation of "familiarity" myths. ; Sarcasm dominates in the images of pseudo-intellectual fictional directors, while portrayals of real-life famous film personalities, particularly actors, are marked by envy, distance, or disappointment. ; Despite the fact that Żulczyk`s characters often compare themselves to outstanding actors and directors, the world of filmmakers and pseudo-filmmakers that the writer creates emerges as rather negative - it is full of dilettantes or amateurs, often degenerates, whose productions have nothing to do with art, and who usurp the right to belong to this industry.
