Poza szybkim i barwnym nurtem życia istnieje życie bardziej leniwe i szare, w którym codzienność wiąże się z cierpieniem-fizycznym, duchowym, psychicznym; w którym dominuje ten sam od lat schemat dnia, a bólu dodaje pogłębiająca się świadomość odchodzenia. Tym stanem może być - a dla wielu osób jest - starość, zwłaszcza samotna. ; To ona, we wszystkich swoich wymiarach, oddala człowieka od rzeczy, które się wokół niego dzieją. Zamyka go w świecie wewnętrznym, szczęśliwym, kiedy wypełniony jest emocjami, wspomnieniami, radością, filozoficznymi rozmyślaniami, błogosławieństwem pozytywnej oceny tego, co już minęło; nieszczęśliwym w sytuacji, gdy jedyną pojawiającą się myślą jest ta o przemijaniu, o utracie członkostwa w klubie młodych i nadchodzącej śmierci, w której dominują ból niezrozumienia, odrzucenie przez innych, wyczekiwanie.
Abstract:
Loneliness is a human experience that is attributable to each age group. It is destructive, it moves away from everyday life, pushes to the margins of society, leaving only the ?crumbs? of reality that are too fleeting to touch them and experience. Loneliness is not uniform, has its own dimensions, each of which sets a different way to tackle the remoteness, locking the man up to world and the world closing in front of the people, also old ones. A public participation, an everyday activity and building an inner, cohesive world by the entire life are some of forms that counteract a human isolation. ; The article is a description of two cases, a slice of older women?s everyday lives, burdened with the baggage of loneliness. These are not isolated cases, taking into account the population of seniors, neither are the same, bearing in mind the individuality and uniqueness of every human being`s experiences. The solitude of both women differs in an emotional layer and physical contacts with the nearer and more distant environment.
