Inspiring functions of the author's cogitation became the changes in a widely understood educational environment of the pupil, especially the fact of a broad path of parallel education connected particularly with the processes of mass-communication and with new transmittingtechnics. At the source of the argument lies the idea, that the school must draw conclusions from the fact, that the mass-media became a crystallizing factor for the cultural needs and that they influenced a considerable group of young people. There existed the necessity to set newtasks and to reform methods in order to give to the pupils full acumen for their every-day environment. It arose the problem of a new outlook of the school and its relation towards audiovisual culture. ; In order to define in general school-relations towards great and various educational influences one must consider the possibility of performing an integrating and co-ordinating function regarding these influences. This knits together with the postulate of regarding the new communication technics not only as a subsidiary medium for teaching but as well as an influencing factor on the choice of tuition-contents, on the conditioning aims and on the modification of methods. ; The consequences of mixing literature with mass-communication turned out to be a subject of special interest. These involvements set the main directions for searching methods of work, which would take into account a specific way of function of literature within contemporaryculture. ; Remarkable are different sorts of creative works by young people based on audiovisual technics. There is also the possibility of making broad capital of an intersemiotical transposition as a method for shaping the pupil's competence for communication. The trend of the argument tends to show the possibility of a full integration of different assignments which form the subject, named "Polish Language". In its reach it includes as well unverbal technics of communication.
