The following work shows an attempt to modificate the theory of systemic teaching and learning literature. The author in accord with the recommendations of modern psychologists, educationalists and literature didacticians pertain to maintaining close relations between life and school, provides for their particularization in the field of literature didactics. ; The author presents laws and psychological enunciations and forms certain conclusions and didactic instructions utilizing pupil's extraliterary experiences in the process of a literary-work-of-art cognition. ; The work attempts an optimalization of the basic structure of the systemic model of work on a literary work of art through: ; 1) Utilization of the pupil's extraliterary experiences in all stages of the systemic model ; 2) Introduction of general and particular problems from pupil's life and employing books from a reading list in order to solve these problems.
