 abstract={The article presents the work "Our women writers..." (1891) by Stepan Ponomaryov (1828-1913), which was a review of the "Bibliographical dictionary of the Russian women writers" (1889) by Nikolay Golitzyn (1836-1893) and a supplement to it. The Ponomaryov`s work consists of two parts: 1. The review of the Golitzyn`s dictionary and the presentation of the activities of the women in Russia (original literary output, translations, natural sciences, mathematics, philosophy, pedagogy, fine arts and others), 2. The amended and supplemented dictionary of the Russian women writers (more than 400 entries). There is discussed among others the entry "Maria Bashkirtzev".},
