Thepresence of myth in his works has already been noticed by scholars. In this context, not enoughattention has been paid to "Klechdy sezamowe" ("Sesame Tales") and "Przygody Sindbada Żeglarza"("Adventures of Sindbad the Sailor"). These fairy tales for children can be interpreted as a degradedmyth. They contain a number of elements which develop or transform in other poet`s works. A fairytale picture is reflected in a poetic counterpart, which in turn refers to a mythical structure. Inpoetry myth regains its primordial functions and refers to the realm of the sacred.}, abstract={For instance,the wood in a fairy tale is an area open to miraculousness and becomes one of the most importantsymbols in poetry and is associated with a concept of a poet as a primitive man. From the fairytale picture to complete losing oneself in the greenness, in order to regain its primordial form - inthis direction the forest story develops in poet`s works. The forest is presented as a border space inwhich a rite of passage (rite de passage) takes place. Moreover, a tribute to nature had been paidin the works of Bolesław Leśmian repeatedly - thus, the author had been expressing a desire tomerge with nature and the universe as fully as possible. So he realized a regression myth.}, abstract={Goingback to the very beginning is specific, since time and space are often very flexible categories. This isevidenced by a "spring beyond spring" plot. Poetic peregrinations into nature preceded experienceswith fairy tales for children. In "Klechdy sezamowe" ("Sesame Tales") and "Przygody Sindbada Żeglarza" ("Adventures of Sindbad the Sailor") the world is based on certain principles of fairy tales, whereas fairy tale elements referring to a myth are written into poetic creation.
