 abstract={The article "The Soviet Army War Cemetery in Nowogrodziec" explores the subject of the history and transformation of the cemetery in the town Nowogrodziec. At the cemetery there are the graves of 222 Soviet soldiers. In this article, I describe the steps to arise and to modernize and renoval of the facility. I also present the costs that were incurred for the maintenance of the cemetery, and what was the impact of the object for the post-war period, as well as the present time. The study was based mainly on archived materials stored at the State Archives in Wroclaw and the Department in Luban.},
