 abstract={The paper presents the problem of determination of soil parameters with the use of Cone Penetration Tests with pore pressure measurement (CPTu). To solve the cut slope stability problem, according to the Eurocode 7, it is required to estimate the values of effective parameters of the subsoil. The determination of these parameters by CPTu is a standard task for granular soil. The paper describes their determination for mixed soils and discusses the advantages and limitations of the used method.},
