 abstract={The AND Publishing House in Zielona Góra, later changed its name into Pracownia Wydawnicza AND Andrzeja Bucka [Andrzej Buck?s AND Publishing Studio], existed from 1993 to 2003. During these ten years, 65 books were edited, among them as many as 47 were poetic volumes. 35 titles of these were edited in the Zielona Góra Series of Poetry and Essays by Dr Andrzej Buck as the editor. 31 volumes by the young debutants and an almanac of poetry by the young poets from Zielona Góra were edited under the auspices of the Series. The AND Publishing House also published essays, books about history, political science, collections of short stories, columns, memoirs, plays and one photograph album. Altogether, 51 authors published in the AND Publishing House: poets, prose writers, playwrights, essayists, publicists, journalists, historians, political scientists, museologists and organizers of cultural activities. Four authors were distinguished with Lubuski Wawrzyn Literacki [regional literary honours]. The activity of the AND Publishing House caused literary boom not only at the regional or local literary market. Ist publications were often widely commented on by the literary critics in Poland, and the series of poetic debuts influenced the activities of other cultural centres as well as literary and media institutions, which led to cultural revival of the city and the voivodeship. The AND Publishing House is one of the most popular publishing houses in history, and it became an important culture-forming institution in the region.},
