A student with Asperger`s syndrome was characterized and the peer group and its role in the socialization process were discussed. The educational paths of a student with Asperger`s syndrome as well as various types of peer groups were also discussed. Our own research was conducted among students of mainstream and special schools. The interview technique was used in the research.
