 abstract={The aim of the study was to address the following research question: What were the principal areas of scientific inquiry at the Gorzow Branch of the Poznań University of Physical Education over the 50 years of the institution`s history? In accordance with historical research methodology, analytical, synthetic, comparative, inductive, and deductive methods were employed. The study is based on existing sources and literature, with an in-depth analysis of the subject. All facts described underwent multiple rounds of verification, which consisted of several stages.},
 abstract={The Gorzow Branch of the Poznań University of Physical Education commenced scientific activity in 1971 and has continued to the present day. The analysis has revealed that ten areas of research interest among the academic staff can be distinguished: the history of physical culture; the sociology of physical culture; the theory of physical education and sport, as well as human motor skills; neuroanatomy; the physiology of physical exertion; sports medicine and biochemistry; ecology and environmental protection; chronobiology; various aspects of physiotherapy; dietetics and human nutrition. These areas primarily addressed a range of topics within the field of physical culture sciences.},
