Taking a scientific approach to engagement (i.e. work engagement), considering the assumptions of concepts related to this issue, including predictors and sources, the main goal is to determine the possibilities of shaping work engagement through the combination of collaboration and competition, known as coopetition within the organization. It was realized by (1) analyzing each issue and (2) conducting research. The method of systematic literature review was used.}, abstract={Based on the results, the issues of work engagement, coopetition, collaboration, and competition were characterized. Two approaches to engagement were described: organization- and employee- oriented. Similarities and differences between these approaches were showed. Various levels of coopetition considerations were identified, discussing meso-level (coopetition between organizations) and micro-level (coopetition within the organization). A comparison between them was made. The components of collaboration were defined, and its intensity was indicated. Types of competition were presented, illustrating two sources of its occurrence in the organization: the created work environment and employee characteristics.}, abstract={Considering the above, research hypotheses were formulated, and research tools were developed. A questionnaire was applied. In the presentation of the results of the study, two groups of employees were included: those performing tasks individually and those collaborating with others in this regard. Based on the results of data analysis, it was confirmed that coopetition in the organization contributes to employee engagement. Simultaneously, two main recommendations were formulated for its application in the organization: adjusting activities to the employee as an individual and the way they perform tasks, and paying attention to relational aspects related to collaboration, competition, and the application of both.}, type={książka}, title={Zaangażowanie pracowników.
