 abstract={The object of observation is the lexis referring to the phenomena of speech and speaking, which appears in the correspondence that the scholar-politician conducted in exile in 1831-1860 in France (among others, Paris, La Grange, Tours) and Belgium (Brussels). It constitutes a rich collection of 1496 letters written in Polish (1423), French (65) and German (8), which were collected and published in five volumes by Helena Więckowska.},
 abstract={The purpose of the study is 1) to indicate the vocabulary repertoire related to speaking in Lelewel`s colloquial subidiolect, 2) to organise excerpts within the lexical-semantic field related to the process of speech and the speaking situation, 3) to determine which words may be Lelewel`s individuals. The lexicographical analysis refers to sources covering the vocabulary of the New Polish era. The vocabulary with the component "to communicate orally" comprises 226 lexical units.},
