Abstract:

The author mentions many arguments which motivate the necessity for interdisciplinary methodological measures in order to integrate theory of literature with linguistics and names the consequences for school education of Polish. ; Literary science as many disciplines concentrating on art belongs to polyhedral and syncretical sciences of inner integration. This is decided by literature's very characteristics, which have the ability to present works of other arts and conceptions formed by them. This results also from the natural coexistence and vital partnership of arts of the time as well as of spatial arts and from the existence of syncretical forms of art, to which belong plays and screenplays. That way arise many points of contact and natural border-line arts which demand adductions to different scientific disciplines. ; Integrational tendencies are characteristic also for contemporary linguistics. The relationship between literary science and linguistics is very close. A work of literature as a whole can be a subject of interest for linguistics. A literary work considered as independent and an individual lingual mark demand, that the examination of contacts between literary science and other selences as semiotics, logics and psychology be supported by linguistic reflexions. Theory of literature is the link between literatures and linguistics and helps the historian of literature in the field of historical poetry. On the other hand linguistics join with theory of literature, with interest in the lingual text and with such aspects as the theory of action of speech, semantics of the text, with text as an integral scheme, linguistic declarations and text and mechanism of communication in Polish. ; Co-operation between the literature specialist and the linguist is a basic postulate for integration of sciences with similar subjects of research. The application of linguistic methods in the research of literary texts from the point of view of their usability for the appraisal of theartistic value of a work becomes an essential measure. The artistic function of lingual elements are of the highest interest for the scholar of literature, the linguist on the other hand looks in the first place for principles of lingual structures and for indicators and expressions of the correctness of its evolution. ; The treatment of a literary piece of work as a certain lingual structure determines in school education the look of a piece of the art of words. Lingual analysis is one of the indispensable elements of work on a literary piece of work in school. A structural and contextual method and researches in the field of literary communication favour such a treatment of school analysis of a literary piece of work. ; Connection of reading with lingual issues favourably influences not only the perception of the language's theory but also literary teaching and shaping of the pupils'lingual competence. The problems of this paper, which enter the realm of theoretical reflexions of specialists of literature and linguists enriched literature didactics and the Polish language by making use of these researches in the theory of systematic teaching and learning literature, as well as in literary communication in school and integral teaching of the Polish language.
