 abstract={In the treatise the reason for crisis in Polish culture and education has been considered, which was not essentially different from the reason for crisis in European culture and education. The diagnosis has been made in the form of ten main thesis supported by reasoned argument.},
 abstract={Starting points in the consideration are the roots and identity of European culture based on the foundations of: (1) old Greek philosophy, (2) Roman law and (3) Christian religion. It was next shown a connection between a national secularism preferred in the European Community and a tendency towards selfsacrificing of a European nation for a civil society. In the treatise the reason for crisis in European culture and education is viewed through a consequent degradation of a family by the school, mass media as well as some laws or conventions.},
